He joined the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities (FEDAS), heading the image department in 1993.

He is appointed president of FEDAS in 2018, a position he currently holds, he is also president of the Ibero-American Union of Underwater Activities Federations (UIFAS), member of the Board of Directors of CMAS - Europe and member of the Environment and Sustainability Commission of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE).
