Days 18 and 21

As a Sun&Blue participant, you will have the opportunity to join technical visits to key companies, research centers, and institutions within Almería's innovation ecosystem. These field trips, organized and guided by professionals, will allow you to see firsthand real projects that are transforming sustainable tourism and the blue economy.

From solutions in water efficiency, renewable energies, or environmental regeneration, to gastronomic experiences and smart destinations, these visits connect theory and practice, enriching your participation in the congress with an applied and inspiring perspective.

Active Start to the Congress

Days 19-20

7:45 AM

To activate body and mind from the very start of the day, we are offering two open activities for delegates and attendees:

  1. Yoga at Plaza del Mar (session led by certified instructors)

  2. Walk/Run in El Toyo: a gentle walk or jog along coastal paths, with landscape interpretation.
Both activities are designed to promote a healthy, mindful, and sustainable start to the day.

Blue Party: Connecting in Blue

Day 19

8:00 PM

On the 19th, the Blue Party will take place—a vibrant experience where blue sets the tone and networking is at the heart of the night.

The Blue Party is more than just a party; it is the meeting point for professionals looking to expand their connections in a relaxed, modern atmosphere, full of networking in the context of Tourism and the Blue Economy.

Main Blue Sports Tourism Activities

Days 21-22

 

Departure from Hotel Barceló Cabo de Gata (transport included in sustainable minibuses).

Schedule: during the morning (maximum duration per activity: 2.5 hours). The following experiences are offered simultaneously:

  1. Interpretive Hiking in the Natural Park or a guided circular route focusing on geology, flora, and environmental sustainability.

  2. Snorkelling in Cala Higuera or Discovery of the marine ecosystem with specialised equipment and instructors.

  3. Cycling Route El Toyo - La Peseta or a bike ride with local guides, combining the coastline, desert landscape, and heritage.

  4. Kayaking from La Fabriquilla or Paddling along cliffs and hidden coves. Environmental interpretation included. All Friday activities will also be available on Saturday, with the option to book in advance.
