Tomás Azcárate
President of Marinas de España
Tomás Azcárate holds three degrees from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid: Law, Economics, and Business Administration. He complemented his academic background with a Diploma of Advanced Studies in International Economics and Development from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an Executive MBA from Instituto de Empresa.
Since 2005, he has served as CEO of the Puerto Deportivo de Los Gigantes, a role he combines with his responsibilities as President of Marinas de España (FEAPDT) and TURMAR CANARIAS, as well as Vice President of the Business Circle of Southern Tenerife and Secretary General of the Canary Islands Ports Association.
His professional career also includes experience at the Responsible Tourism Institute, quality management at Loro Parque Group, and the creation of the Santa Cruz Sostenible Foundation.
