Sacramento Sánchez

Delegate Councillor for Public Works, Maintenance, Accessibility and Blue Economy area. Almería

Born in Aguilas (Murcia), she has a degree in Labor Sciences and a Diploma in Social Graduate from the University of Almeria. Her professional experience began in teaching where she was a teacher at the Educational Center M.ª Inmaculada in the city of Almeria, and since 1999 she has been a Career Civil Servant of the Excm. City Council of Almeria, where she has been developing her work in the Area of Urbanism, in the Sections of Works and Licensing, as well as in Human Resources of the Excmo.

She began her political career in 2019 as councilor delegate of the Municipal Services Area, an area to which she was delegated the responsibility for the management of Beaches in 2022. She is currently the spokesperson of the Government Team, and councilor delegate of the Area of Public Works, Maintenance, Accessibility and Blue Economy of the City Council of Almeria and first deputy mayor.
