Margarita Del Cid

Mayor of Torremolinos

Margarita del Cid has been the Mayor of Torremolinos since December 2021, with a distinguished career in public administration and political management. She holds a Law degree from the University of Málaga and has completed specialized studies in urban planning and political leadership. Since 1999, she has held various positions in the Torremolinos City Council, as well as serving as a Member of the Spanish Parliament (2011–2014) and President of the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol (2011–2019). She has also held key roles in the Málaga Provincial Council and within the Popular Party, where she served as Secretary-General of the Málaga branch. She is currently President of the Torremolinos Popular Party and the Council of Mayors.
