Deputy Assistant Director General for Tourism Development and Sustainability at the State Secretariat for Tourism of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism (MINTUR)
With 20 years of experience in public management of tourism, culture, and competition, she has served as Director of the Spanish Tourism Offices (OET) in Munich and Düsseldorf, Deputy Director-General for Economic and Administrative Affairs at INAEM, and has been responsible for sustainability, digitalization, and tourism quality programs at Turespaña.

From European funds to new opportunities for smart destinations
This roundtable will address the legacy of Next Generation funds in promoting blue tourism, particularly through Tourism Sustainability Plans in Destinations. Two replicable success stories will be presented, along with new financing opportunities such as the €7 million program from Red.es and the EDIL Strategy. The goal is to offer a practical roadmap for scaling sustainable and innovative solutions in tourist destinations.
