Fishing as a driver of tourism: culture, territory, and future

This session, organized by the General Secretariat for Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food of the Government of Spain, highlights fishing as a central theme in Spain's tourism, culture, and regional identity. Through a multidisciplinary round table, fishing will be addressed not only as a productive activity, but also as a living experience that defines the character of our coasts, our gastronomy, and our identity. The discussion will focus on how to strengthen the link between the fishing and tourism sectors, with special attention to sustainability, digitization, and the promotion of fishing heritage as a tourist attraction.
