Sun&Blue Congress, the first international congress of Tourism and Blue Economy already has a date for the celebration of its second edition. It will be held from November 20 to 22 and the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos Cabo de Gata - Ciudad de Almería will once again be the venue. Once again, the international event will be promoted by beon. Worldwide and sponsored by the City Council of Almeria, the Provincial Council of Almeria, and the Ministry of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy of Andalusia.
For this second edition, Sun&Blue Congress will focus its scientific program around eight tracks such as Technology, Energy, Financing, Coasts and Beaches, Islands and Territories, Culture and Gastronomy, Hotel Industry and Sports. These topics will be addressed by top international speakers through presentations and panel discussions that will take place in a total of three rooms -one plenary room exclusively for keynotes and two rooms that will run in parallel for discussions.
In addition, Sun&Blue Congress will have an exhibition area where companies in the sector will be present to showcase their latest services and products and an area for scientific dissemination. There will also be an area where organizations and associations will hold side events and a networking space. In total, Sun&Blue Congress will occupy the 7,200 square meters of floor space available at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Almería.
The scientific program will be complemented by a social program in which a Welcome Party, a Gala Dinner and the presentation of the II Sun&Blue Awards, among other blue initiatives, are expected.
One of the novelties for this year is the celebration of the I International Forum of Beach Managers that will allow the exchange of knowledge, successful experiences and address various issues of interest to public managers of the coast of Spain.
During this meeting, the "Asociación de Gestores Españoles Públicos de Playas" (AGEPP) will be constituted. An entity that will fill an existing gap in Spain of representation before public and private institutions, providing legal tools, regulations, funding and technical resources for a group of key importance in Blue Tourism. The International Forum of Beach Managers will take place on November 19, the day before the opening of Sun&Blue Congress.
