Sun&Blue Awards 2025 entries open
They recognize the best projects and experiences in tourism and blue economy. Nominations must be submitted by September 30.

We announce the official opening of the registration period for the third edition of the Sun&Blue Awards, an annual recognition that highlights the best practices and transformative initiatives in the field of sustainable tourism linked to the marine and coastal environment, and the blue economy.
Starting May 29, 2025, companies, public and private institutions, and organizations will be able to submit their nominations for one of the five categories that make up these awards. The deadline for submitting projects will be September 30, 2025.
These awards seek to identify and give visibility to exemplary experiences that, from an innovative and committed perspective, contribute to the development of a regenerative, inclusive and resilient tourism model in coastal and marine territories.
Categories of the Sun&Blue 2025 Awards
Blue Destination - Destinations that have implemented exemplary strategies in coastal tourism management, integrating environmental regeneration, social inclusion and a model of quality, low-impact tourism.
Blue Tourism Experience - Innovative tourism experiences that connect visitors with the marine or coastal environment from a sustainable, educational and transformative perspective.
Blue Energy Management Innovation - Projects that innovatively implement clean energy, efficient methods, technological solutions that improve energy management or initiatives to reduce emissions, optimize consumption, increase efficiency and transition to renewable energy.
Blue Water Management Innovation - Projects that innovatively apply water efficiency, efficient methods, technological solutions that improve water management or initiatives that address water scarcity, pollution, lack of infrastructure and the growing threat of climate change.
Blue Economy Cooperation - Collaborative projects with strong social, environmental and scientific impact that foster innovation, governance, education, accessibility and transformation in blue territories.
Entries will be evaluated by an independent jury composed of members of the Sun&Blue Congress Advisory Committee and professionals from the public and private sectors with extensive experience in tourism, sustainability and blue economy.
The projects submitted must have been initiated or developed during the 24 months prior to the close of the application period. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the electronic form available on this website.
