Gonzalo Eiriz
Deputy Director for Agricultural, Fisheries, Food and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.
State agricultural engineer, he has held various positions at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), having served as Counsellor in Rome and to the FAO, Deputy Director of Analysis, Foresight and Statistics, Deputy Director of International Relations, Deputy Director of ENESA, and Technical Director of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Rural Affairs and Water. Previously, he worked at Tragsa and at Action Against Hunger. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Spanish Association of Agricultural Economists. He is currently Deputy Director for Agricultural, Fisheries, Food and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.
