Born in Almeria, Economist from the University of Seville, MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid; and with extensive professional experience in global and local, national and international companies.

In 2002, she began her professional career as a management and financial controller in Madrid, in the business group Parques Reunidos to later become Head of Management of Cadena Ser’s Music Channels at national level.

She is currently President of the Social Council of the University of Almeria, and works on bridging initiatives between Society, Business and the University with the aim of establishing the concept of "Open University" promoting a greater approach of the University to the whole society and the productive fabric, capturing the needs of companies, the concerns of students and the challenges of society and generating channels for the University to respond to these demands.
