Graduate in Biology and Master's in Scientific Research from the University of Extremadura. PhD from the University of Granada in 2018. Co-author of a book, several book chapters, articles in scientific journals, and presentations at national and international conferences related to aquaculture and the conservation of aquatic environments. Hired by the University of Granada for several research projects from 2013 to 2018. Currently a Career Civil Servant supporting Teaching and Research at the UGR in the Aula del Mar Cei·Mar, both at the Faculty of Sciences and the Motril Port campus. Collaborator in research projects from regional and national calls. Lecturer in several subjects of the Master's in Advances in Agrarian Biology and Aquaculture at the UGR. Professor of the Marine Biology course in the Biology degree program. Lecturer in UGR training courses for PAS and PDI staff on Aquatic Organisms in Experimentation from 2018 to 2022. Coordinator and speaker at the Cei·Mar UGR Aquarium Courses organized by the Mediterranean Center in its 2016 and 2017 editions. Coordinator and speaker of several Scientific Diving courses funded by CEIMAR from 2018 to 2024. Participant in Scientific Committees and Organizer of several National Congresses. Director and current Former President of the Spanish Aquaculture Society since 2013 and Vice President of the University Diving Club of Granada since 2016.
