Sun&Blue Congress will be a CO2-neutral event

Sun&Blue Congress, the most important congress in Europe on tourism and blue economy will be held from November 15 to 17 at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos "Cabo de Gata - Ciudad de Almería' with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport of Andalusia, the City Council of Almeria, the Provincial Council of Almeria and the Ministry of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy of Andalusia. The event is promoted by beon. Worldwide, an independent communications group and one of the largest event production companies in Europe, with offices around the world, but headquartered in Andalusia.

Responsible for the organization of the congress, beon. Worldwide confirms that the Sun&Blue Congress will be a CO2 neutral event. "For the principle of coherence with the theme of the congress and because we do so in beon. worldwide practically all events, this congress will be carbon neutral thanks to the measurement, audit, compensation and certification that will be performed on the production and all the activities of all the congress participants, finally obtaining the prestigious certificate of 'Sustainable Event'," explains Tim Ott, General Manager of the company. The 'Sustainable Event' certificate will be awarded by Eventsost, the leading sustainability certification for the international events industry, under the ISO 20121:2013 standard.

The General Manager of beon. Worldwide gives more details on the congress production and describes it as "first class". They plan to operate three rooms in parallel, for which a completely ad hoc set-up will be created for the congress content. "The format will be tremendously innovative for the plenary, with a central stage with 2 tablets, bleachers and the audience placed around the stage, which will allow us to develop presentations with several protagonists, with scenic changes, face-to-face formats and a lot of dynamism in the staging". These three rooms will be complemented by a networking area, an exhibition area, a partners' room and a restaurant area. Ott assures that Sun&Blue Congress will be at the highest level of the major international congresses.
