Sun&Blue Congress, the first international congress of Blue Tourism and Blue Economy has been awarded in the ANSEMAC 2024 Awards, under the 'Impact Action' category in an event held in "El 29" - Grupo Abades, in the city of Seville, which brought together a wide representation of the political, economic, business and social sphere of Andalusia.

These awards, organized by the Andalusian Association of Women Entrepreneurs in the Environmental Sector (Ansemac), have highlighted the work of beon. Worldwide, an independent and international communications group, in its commitment to create Sun&Blue Congress, demonstrating its engagement with sustainability and the environment, working to promote sustainable socio-economic models.

For Dario Regattieri, CEO of beon. Worldwide, it is gratifying to see how a Corporate Social Responsibility project that was born entirely within his company is contributing so much to society. "As an international company, with more than 22 years of experience and almost 350 employees, we wanted and had the obligation to give back to society everything it has given us over the years. And so we created Sun&Blue Congress, a meeting where we bring together institutions, private companies and the scientific community, unique in its subject matter, but essential for the future of the tourism industry and the promotion of the Blue Economy".

Tim Ott, CEO of beon. Worldwide and director of Sun&Blue Congress, emphasizes the value of public-private partnerships and assures that they are "fundamental" to implement initiatives that have a positive impact on society, as is the case with Sun&Blue Congress, which will celebrate its second edition in November. "We promote a series of measures to ensure a balance between economic development, environmental protection and local communities. These include the adoption of clean and renewable technologies, the implementation of sustainable marine resource management practices, the promotion of the circular economy and the reduction of the carbon footprint. In addition, we encourage public-private partnerships, as well as education and awareness of local communities and visitors on the importance of sustainability. These measures are designed to support tourism that is not only economically viable, but also environmentally responsible and socially inclusive."

Fatima Sarmiento, Strategy Director of Sun&Blue Congress also expressed her satisfaction for the recognition granted by ANSEMAC: "Women entrepreneurs play a crucial role in the transformation towards more sustainable models, and at Sun&Blue Congress we are dedicated to fostering this vision. We will continue to work together with ANSEMAC and other entities to promote initiatives that benefit both the environment and society".

The ANSEMAC Awards, recognitions of the Andalusian employers' association of businesswomen and environmental managers, are part of the commitment of this association with the objectives of the Agenda 2030 ODS. They are intended to honor the scientific, technical, cultural, social and human work done by individuals, institutions and groups of people or companies at international, national and regional level, working for a more egalitarian and sustainable world.
