Nacho Dean, new ambassador of Sun&Blue Congress in its second edition of celebration

Sun&Blue Congress, international congress of Tourism and Blue Economy, will have the naturalist and explorer, Nacho Dean, as a new ambassador for its second edition to be held from 20 to 22 November at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos Cabo de Gata - Ciudad de Almería. Dean will also be part of the scientific program, giving a lecture during the course of the event.

Nacho Dean is an adventurer and professional explorer of recognized prestige for the great feats he has completed in a demonstration of effort, overcoming and endurance, pushing the limits of human capacity. He is the first and only person in history to have managed to walk around the world and swim across five continents.  

From 2013 to 2016 she walked around the world, an expedition she called EarthWideWalk, which took her for 3 years to cross four continents, 31 countries and 33,000 kilometers on foot, solo and unassisted in defense of the environment.

Between 2018 and 2019 he completed the Nemo Expedition, a challenge with which he swam across five continents to launch a message of ocean conservation.

As a result of his expeditions to the most remote corners, Nacho Dean has been able to document and learn first hand the state of our planet. Author of two books "Libre y Salvaje" and "La llamada del océano" and of the documentaries 'Around the world on foot: the first documentary of the history in TikTok' and 'El caminante del mar'.

One of the key initiatives that Nacho Dean will be supporting as ambassador of Sun&Blue Congress is "La España Azul", the first scientific and informative expedition sailing around Spain. This ambitious project aims to generate environmental impact through scientific research. During the expedition, data and samples have been collected at geo-localized points for subsequent laboratory analysis, which will contribute significantly to the knowledge and conservation of Spanish marine ecosystems.

The participation of Nacho Dean as ambassador and speaker in this second edition of Sun&Blue Congress promises to further enrich this international meeting of experts in Tourism and Blue Economy, consolidating it as a vital forum for discussion and action around the sustainability and development of the oceans and seas.
