Patricia Giménez

Director of Beaches and Water Cycle in Barcelona at Barcelona City Council

I hold a degree in Environmental Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a Master's in Integrated Coastal Zone Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and a Postgraduate degree in Public Administration and Management from the School of Public Administration of Catalonia. I have over 20 years of experience in coastal management, initially focused on strategic development. I have participated in key projects such as the Strategic Coastal Plan for the Barcelona Metropolitan Region and the Strategic Plan for the Coastal Areas of Barcelona.

For the past three years, I have been the Director of Beaches in the Water Cycle Department of Barcelona City Council, where I apply my expertise in integrated coastal management, leading initiatives that contribute to the sustainability and resilience of urban coastlines.
