Marta Gómez Lahoz
Head of the blue economy department
Marta Gómez Lahoz graduated in Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 1991 and pursued postgraduate studies in physical oceanography at the University of Alcalá de Henares between 1991 and 1993. In November 2020, she was appointed Head of the Blue Growth Strategy at Puertos del Estado, a position she currently holds. Her main responsibilities include coordinating and promoting support for marine renewable energies, implementing sustainability measures in blue economy activities, and conducting economic impact studies of the national port system.
