José García Fuentes
President of the Motril Port Authority
José García Fuentes (1962) is a Technical Architect from the University of Granada (1986). His professional career includes private practice (1986–2007) as Director and Manager of an Architecture and Urban Planning Studio, leadership positions in private companies, and work as a judicial expert and appraiser. Since March 2019, he has been President of the Motril Port Authority. He has also served as First Deputy Mayor of Motril City Council, President of the Association of Municipalities of the Costa Tropical, President of the public company Radio Televisión Motril, Member of the Security and Citizen Coexistence Committee of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), and Chairman of the Board of the public cleaning company LIMDECO.
