Technical Architect from the Escuela Universitaria de Arquitectura Técnica de Granada, 1986.

He practiced professionally until 2007, when he transitioned to public service as Deputy Mayor of the Ayuntamiento de Motril, where he directed the Departments of Economía y Hacienda, Régimen Interior (RR.HH.), Seguridad Ciudadana y Movilidad, Turismo, and Deporte across multiple terms.

He has held the following positions:

President of the Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa Tropical de Granada.

President of the Empresa Pública Radio Televisión Motril.

President of the Empresa Pública de Limpieza, LIMDECO.

Currently, he is the President of the Autoridad Portuaria de Motril and the Asociación Suncrise Andalucia.
