Giulia Balestracci

Tourism policy and project officer at eco-union

Giulia Balestracci holds a degree in Tourism and a Master's in Sustainable Tourism Management of Resources and Destinations, as well as a Master's in Tourism Management and Spatial Planning. She is currently collaborating with the GRATET group at the Rovira i Virgili University, where she is pursuing her PhD on blue tourism and governance.

She has been working at eco-union since 2022 as a project and tourism policy officer. She coordinates projects related to sustainable tourism and the blue and green economy at national, international, and Euro-Mediterranean levels.

She has worked in the (responsible) tourism sector since 2015, in international settings, with various work and travel experiences abroad.
