Eva Miquel

Eva Miquel Subías was born in Barcelona. She chose to study Contemporary History at the University of Barcelona and began collaborating with radio early in her career. She spent five seasons on La Ventana with Xavier Sardà on Cadena Ser and did segments on Jordi González's program on TV3.
Later, she joined the Fundación Concordia as General Director from its inception, while still contributing to media outlets. She then took on the challenge proposed by Radio España Cataluña to cover parliamentary affairs.
Subsequently, she joined the Government Delegation in Catalonia, where she gained in-depth knowledge of the administration, before moving to the Ministry of Public Administrations. She later worked in various departments of the Madrid City Council, where she has lived since then.
During that time, she attended the "I International Research Symposium in Management and Public Sector-XXI Century" organized by Harvard Kennedy School and the Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard, and completed the advanced program in "Leadership for Public Management" at IESE.
She also wrote regularly for Libertad Digital and Diario Crítico for eight years.
In 2012, she joined Puertos del Estado as Corporate Director of Communication and Institutional Relations, handling all external promotion of the organization and Spanish ports, coordinating the Ports of Spain pavilion at major national and international fairs, designing the public entity's communication and branding strategies, and managing external relations with public and private institutions. She has been the representative of Puertos del Estado at CLIA, a board member at the Port Authority of Tarragona, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Maritime Museum of Barcelona.
Since October 2018, she has been a Partner-Director at aWp Services, a communication and strategy consulting firm where many of her clients are related to the maritime-port sector. She is leading the "Puertos: Green&Blue" project for the Prensa Ibérica editorial group and has returned to media work, being responsible for the cruise and nautical section on the Gente Viajera program on Ondacero, writing for The Luxonomist, and collaborating with Espejo Público on Antena 3.
