Alexandre Pereira

Municipal Secretary of Tourism for Fortaleza

Graduated in Business Administration from the State University of Ceará (UECE) and holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Lisbon in Portugal. He also completed postgraduate studies in Strategic Management at the European Institute of Business Administration in France and in Public and Private Management at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).

Currently, he serves as the Municipal Secretary of Tourism for Fortaleza, a position he has held for eight years. He is also the president of the National Association of Tourism Secretaries and Leaders of Brazil (ANSEDITUR) and the president of the Citizenship Party in Ceará. Additionally, he is the president of Embratur's Fiscal Council and a member of the National Tourism Council within the Ministry of Tourism.

His career is distinguished by solid experience in public and private management. He has served as Secretary of Economic Development for the State of Ceará, president of the Ceará Industrial Center (CIC), president of the Ceará Bakery and Confectionery Industry Union (SINDPAN), president of the Brazilian Bakery and Confectionery Industry Association (ABIP), and chaired the Management Council for Public-Private Partnerships at the Fortaleza City Hall.

He is a founding member of the Ceará Academy of Administration (ACAD), a founding member of the Ceará Academy of Tourism (ACT), and an honorary member of the Ceará Academy of Law (ACED).
