Marjan Nauwelaert is the Sustainability Manager at Visit Flanders, a position she has held since 2022. Previously, she worked as a researcher in the same organisation, focusing on the ecological, economic, and social impacts of cruise tourism in Flanders. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Recreation Management and a Master’s in Tourism. Currently, she chairs the Climate Task Force of NECSTouR, aligning and supporting climate action in tourism across European regions.
