Antonio Garamendi Lecanda is a Spanish businessman and President of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE) since 21 November 2018. Previously, he was president of CEPYME (the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises) between 2014 and 2018. His experience in business organisations started at a very young age when he founded the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Basque Country (AJEBASK). He is currently vice-president of BusinessEurope, the organisation that represents European entrepreneurs, and president of AENOR Confía. Another facet of the CEOE president is that he chairs the AYUDARE FOUNDATION, whose main activity is to open drinking water wells in Ethiopia
